About 400 athletes took part at the first 5150 in Klagenfurt. After heavy rain showers in the morning the sun came up and attracted numerous fans and spectators around the Lindner Seepark Hotel area. Kris Gemmell, a two-time Olympian from New Zealand, won his first Memphis in May Olympic Triathlon in one of the closest finishes in the event’s 28-year history Sunday. Dr. Amanda Stevens of Enid, Okla., became a two-time MIM Triathlon winner by an even closer margin.
